SELF-PORTRAIT: I CAN'T WAIT FOREVER,series of photographs, 2014.
Everyone is waiting for someone or something; whether it is an exam, a birthday, someone's return or arrival, your departure, tomorrow, etc. Waiting is a process that is constantly repeated. When we get what we are waiting for, we wait for something else and so on. In this waiting process that we live with, we do other things. Nobody just ever waits, although sometimes it can be said that we were just waiting for that moment. And when we're just waiting, we do other things, like drinking tea, looking out the window, reading a book, going to the store, and the like. This collection of photographs follows the process of waiting, where an attempt is made to show that waiting through the shadow of the author. Although we don't know what she is waiting for, we can get the personality of that person through these photos.
